Lonestar
Contractors, not a country. Paid to win.
The heavy hitters of the Western para-military world, run like a company rather than a nation. The only one of the three that is a private outfit and not a state’s army.
The South African WARDOGS community servers: three of them, 100 slots each, King of the Hill across Bakurani, Ozeti and Zestafona, admins in the match. In the in-game browser it is under EU-Central with the Community Servers filter on; or create a free account for the direct connect ID. Everything below is live.
Read from the server about once a minute. Discord count from Discord.
King of the Hill on all three maps — Bakurani, Ozeti and Zestafona — changing at the end of every match rather than sitting on one all night, with Infantry Only rounds in the mix. The order below is read from the server.
Maps, zones and modes explained in WARDOGS maps and modes.
Kolchia — a fictional stretch of war-torn Eastern Europe — and PV-1, the resource behind decades of fighting over it. The game assigns you a side per match; on the portal you pledge one, it shows next to your name on the leaderboard, and the war below is every kill on our three servers, member or not.

The Republic never fell. They mean to prove it.
In WARDOGS’ timeline the Soviet People’s Republic never dissolved, and Valkyra fights to drag it back to the top. A restorationist force, not a dominant one — yet.
Tehran’s shadow army. Quiet until it isn’t.
The Kingdom of Persia’s deniable-operations force — a Persia that never had its 1979 revolution. Manticore moves in the dark and is only seen when it strikes.
Kills counted on the Boet’s World server, this week (Monday reset, SAST). Pledge yours on your portal profile.
It is a paid game and there is no free client. R374.99 in South Africa, 50 GB download — start it before anything else.
The browser has no name search. In the in-game server browser set the region to EU-Central, the filter to Community Servers, and find [ZA] BOET’S WORLD [ZA] BOET’S WORLD 2 or [ZA] BOET’S WORLD 3 in the list. There is no African region, so EU-Central is correct. Step-by-step join guide.
A free portal account gets you the direct connect ID, puts your matches on the leaderboard, and earns badges. Confirm Steam and you are on the reserved list too, supporters first, so a full server still lets you in.
Post in the Discord before you queue. A hundred players over three sides is decided by comms, and thirty-three strangers on your side is a lot.
Short enough to actually read. Breaking these gets you removed from the server and the Discord.
The WARDOGS maximum on each, across Lonestar, Valkyra and Manticore. [ZA] BOET’S WORLD and [ZA] BOET’S WORLD 2 carry the members’ reserved list; [ZA] BOET’S WORLD 3 is open to everyone. A match needs a minimum in the lobby to start, so bring people.
Bakurani, Ozeti and Zestafona, each with its own King of the Hill zones, rotating every match. The maps and modes explained.
There is no African hosting region for WARDOGS. Ours is on QONZER, one of the three developer-approved hosts, with Platinum DDoS protection. Expect about 200ms — the same as everyone else in the lobby. What that means.
A house rule the admins enforce, so nobody in the match has a 160ms head start. We are petitioning BULKHEAD for a real African region.
Bans happen in the round, not in a ticket queue. BULKHEAD themselves point players at community servers for exactly this. Why.
Ours is the closest thing right now. The servers are South African only — a house rule enforced by the admins — so everyone in the lobby is on a similar ping instead of trading shots with someone who has a 100ms advantage. The hardware sits in Frankfurt because WARDOGS has no African region yet; we are petitioning BULKHEAD for one.
In the in-game server browser set the region to EU-Central and the filter to Community Servers, then find [ZA] BOET’S WORLD, [ZA] BOET’S WORLD 2 or [ZA] BOET’S WORLD 3 in the list — there is no name search. It is under EU-Central because the hardware is in Frankfurt. Or make a free account at portal.boets.world for the direct connect address. Step-by-step join guide.
It is South African only, as a house rule enforced by the admins, so everyone in the lobby is on a similar ping. The rule applies to everyone equally, so players outside South Africa cannot join for now. Anyone in South Africa who owns WARDOGS on Steam can play; a free portal account gets you the direct connect details.
Three servers, 100 slots each, the WARDOGS maximum, across the three factions. On [ZA] BOET’S WORLD and [ZA] BOET’S WORLD 2, members with Steam confirmed on the portal are on the reserved list, supporters first, so a full server does not lock them out. [ZA] BOET’S WORLD 3 is open to everyone, first come first served.
King of the Hill on all three maps — Bakurani, Ozeti and Zestafona — rotating at the end of every match, with Infantry Only rounds in the mix. The live rotation is near the top of this page.
Not at the moment. If one is ever set it appears on the member portal’s connect page, which needs a free account.
Playing and joining the Discord cost nothing. The supporter tier is R90 a month and adds a reserved slot on Servers 1 and 2 when they are full, a VIB Discord role, monthly giveaways and direct access to the server team. It is what pays for the hosting.
Yes. WARDOGS is a paid game on Steam and you need to own it before you can join any server, ours included. What it costs in South Africa.
No. WARDOGS has a server region selector, but there is no African region on it — so everyone on this continent connects to Europe, and South Africans land somewhere between 180 and 220ms. A community server cannot shorten that distance, but it can put everyone in the lobby on the same footing, which is the part that actually decides fights. The longer version is in our South African servers guide.
Join the Discord and post in the squad channels. Everyone there is on SAST, so you are not the one person online at 3am looking for a fourth.
Yes: the WARDOGS South Africa Official Tournament on Friday 6 November 2026 at 19:00 SAST, 99 seats across the three factions, cash prizes and Steam vouchers. Entry is free; registration locks 31 October.
It is out. WARDOGS released at 18:00 SAST on Thursday 10 September 2026, so you can buy and download it from Steam right now.
R90 a month. Reserved slot on Servers 1 and 2 when they are full, VIB role, giveaways, and a direct line to the admins.
R90 a month is not for everyone. Scan with SnapScan or your banking app, or pay by card here. No perk, no minimum; it goes to the hosting bill. Sign in to the portal first and it earns you the Patron badge.
