Home ground

  1. South African hosts

    The servers leave Frankfurt for hardware here at home. Shorter trip for every shot, every peek, every grenade, for every player in the lobby.

  2. Open to the public

    From the Season 2 launch anyone can join. Same house rules, same admins in the match, and members keep their priority access.

  3. Built by you

    Every match on our servers since launch week, every squad that stuck around, every supporter: that is what made the case for local servers. The map above is the receipt.

The short answers

Do members still get priority access when the servers go public?

Yes. Registered members and paid supporters keep priority access on the public servers, supporters first in line, so a full server does not lock you out. Priority is tied to your Steam account: link it on the portal and confirm it by signing in through Steam.

When do the South African servers open?

With the WARDOGS Season 2 launch on Thursday 15 October 2026 at 19:00 South African time. From then our servers run on South African hosts and are open to the public.

Why is my name not on the map?

The map shows every member who has played at least one match on our WARDOGS servers with their Steam account linked and confirmed through Steam on the portal. Link Steam, play a match, and your star appears within about twenty minutes.

How do I take my name off?

Untick “Season 2 map” on your profile. Your star is gone within about twenty minutes. Your stats and the leaderboards are not affected.

What do the stars and lines mean?

Each star is one member, coloured by the faction they pledged to (or the one they play most). The more matches they have played, the bigger the star and the closer it sits to the centre. A line joins two members who have fought on the same side in at least three matches.
