The creator wall is the list of South African gaming creators on this site. A profile is free, there is no application, and the only requirement is a Discord account. This is the whole process, written out, so you know exactly what you are signing up for before you start.
What you get
- A page at boets.world/creators/your-name, with its own address you can paste anywhere.
- Every channel in one place — Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, Kick and your own Discord.
- A pinned UP NEXT block for the stream, video or drop you are pushing this week, with a start and end time that clears itself when it is over.
- Click stats: how many people opened your profile, and which links they pressed, over the last 30 days.
- A spot on the wall, and a shot at the three-creator block on the front page.
The page carries proper metadata and a canonical address, so it is a page a search engine can index under your name. One thing we will say out loud, because most sites do not: the outbound links to your channels are marked nofollow, exactly like every other outbound link on this site. Your profile can rank for your name. It is not a backlink scheme and we are not going to imply it is one.
What we ask for, and what we cannot do
You sign in with Discord. We ask Discord for four things: who you are, your email address for account recovery, whether you are in our server, and permission to add you to it. We do not ask for message access and we cannot post as you. Your password is typed on Discord's own site and never touches this server.
Your display picture comes from your Discord avatar. If you change it on Discord later, sign in here again to refresh it — the old one stops resolving, and the page falls back to your initials rather than a broken image.
The setup, step by step
- Open the creator dashboard and sign in with Discord. It brings you straight back to the form.
- Pick your profile address — lowercase letters, numbers and single hyphens, three characters or more. Choose carefully: it locks the first time your profile goes live, because a URL people have shared should not stop working.
- Write your name, a tagline of up to 140 characters and a bio of up to 800, add your channels, and hit submit for review.
The tagline is the line that sits under your name on the wall and in the search result. "Extraction shooters, Tuesday and Thursday, 20:00 SAST" tells a stranger whether to click. "Just a guy who loves games" does not.
The bio wants at least a couple of sentences. What you play, when you stream, and what someone is walking into. It is the only place on the page where you get to sound like a person rather than a set of links.
Your channels
Add at least one, one per platform, up to all seven. Every link is checked against the platform you filed it under — a TikTok link has to actually be on tiktok.com, and everything has to be https. That check is not us being difficult. It is what keeps a wall of creator links from becoming a place where a wrong or hijacked address quietly sits for a month.
The first channel in your list is the one that gets the primary button on your page. Put your main one at the top.
The pinned promotion
Optional, and the most useful field on the form. It gives you a gold UP NEXT block with a title, a short description, a destination and a window — a start and an end, in South African time. Use it for a tournament, a launch, a charity stream, a video you want landing this week.
The window is the point. A pinned block that says LIVE TONIGHT three weeks after the night is the thing that makes a creator page look abandoned, so this one has an end time and it means it.
Colour and featured game
Pick one of eight accent colours and one featured game from the list — our own Raid Rush, or one of the two dozen games the crew here plays. The colour takes over your own profile page. On the shared wall it is kept to your card's edge and the ring around your avatar, so the wall still reads as one place rather than eight competing brands.
Both of these apply the moment you save them. They carry no risk, so they do not wait for anyone.
What happens after you submit
Your profile goes into a review queue and a person reads it. We do not publish a wall of unread links to a community, and there is no automated approval to game. When it is approved, your page goes live and the Discord gets an announcement that you have joined.
After that, editing works the same way, with one difference worth knowing: changes to your name, tagline, bio, links or promotion are staged for review, and your live page keeps serving the approved version until they are looked at. Nothing you edit takes your page down, and nothing goes public unread.
What the numbers tell you
The dashboard shows the last 30 days: profile views, clicks per channel, and clicks on your promotion. It is first-party — our own redirect counting our own clicks, no third-party pixel following anyone around.
It is a small number of numbers on purpose, and they are the ones that answer a real question: is the traffic arriving and which link is it actually pressing? If your profile gets views and no clicks, your tagline is doing the work and your links are not. That is worth knowing.
What it costs
Nothing. There is no tier, no cut of anything you earn, and no exclusivity — post wherever you post, we are not a network.
Where money does enter: brands sponsor events, giveaways and creator campaigns through the partners page, and creator collabs are one of the placements listed there. If a campaign fits you, we come to you with the numbers, and the click reporting is the same first-party counting you already see on your own dashboard.
If you make gaming content in South Africa, claim the page. It is ten minutes and it is free, and the worst case is that you own one more address that points at your channels.
